Simulation of Motion Locus in Bipolarity Double-nozzle Electrospinning

The electrospinning was used to synthsize nanofibers as gas sensing materials. A double-nozzle electrospinning device with opposite bipolarity was designed for synthesis SnO2/In2O3 hetero-nanofibers in our experiments, including two syringes with different solutions were connected with their bipolarity nozzles, and a collection plate connected with the ground. In this work, the software of Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB) was used to simulate the motion locus of the bipolarity double-nozzle electrospinning process. The charged solutions were simulated as multiple charged and discretized particles. Then, force analysis was applied to the charged particle composed of the electrospun fibers, and a molecular dynamics model was built. The motion locus of the opposite electrically charged particle was calculated and simulated on the basis of the Runge-Kutta algorithm. The nanofibers with the opposite bipolarity attracted and intertwined together and then fell down to the collection plate because of the gravity. The motion locus of the organic composite nanofibers synthesized using the bipolarity double-nozzle electrospinning device is shown to be identical to the simulated motion locus.
